Yannawa is where you will find Bangkok’s Protestant Cemetery which is home to the splendid monument of King Rama V’s adviser, Henry Alabaster. Along the road, within the area of the modern Asiatique The Riverfront, there is a reproduction of Bangkok’s first electric tram network and the warehouses of the East Asiatic Company. The warehouses were built in the 19th century as part of the first international port for incoming and outgoing trade. In my humble opinion, not all places in Bangkok have to be well-known to be interesting.
