Photo of the Week

This weeks photo was taken on Tuesday 9th June 2015 on the Chao Phraya River, in Bangkok. You can see the tall skyscrapers in the background, the white chedi, and the dome of an old Catholic church in the foreground on the right. On the left, there is an older building which is in bad need of repair. On both sides of the river there are tiny wooden shacks which are home to many people in Bangkok. Not to mention the boats that ferry hundreds of people up and down the river on a daily basis. All this shows how diverse Bangkok is. A definite mix of old and new.
